Mary and Chauntae Moore opened THE BIRDCAGE as a waiting area for Habitat Hair Salon. Wanting to include the community, they added a  small Espresso Bar as an amenity to their patrons and neighbors. THE BIRDCAGE Gallery program now continues the legacy of previous stores, Spoke Art, supporting the local art community and hosting art shows and market show casing emerging fine artist in Bay Area. 

Our Morning Store Coordinator

Yė, a french designer joined the team from day 1 as a novice barista. She has loved coffee culture since her first cup and is thrilled to ditch her computer half the week to serve you all. More than coffee, she loves to see the culture and conversation flourishing in THE BIRDCAGE.
